Is this really an Elopement? 

We have redefined the term elope – an escape to the Hudson Valley, to wed and celebrate with an intimate group of family and friends - an elevated micro wedding for 20-50 guests. We want to give couples an opportunity to have their wedding now, in a safe, open, beautiful environment. And if they wish, a larger celebration in the future.

What venues, dates and times are available?

We are offering our clients stunning Hudson Valley venues, beginning July 2020. We have highlighted two of the venues on our ‘Venues’ page but we have other venue options if you are looking for something else.

Our wedding packages have specific times but you can add additional time should you wish. See our ‘Services’ page for more detail on the packages.

As restrictions are lifted in the Hudson Valley we will add venues and dates to our availability list.  Please contact us to discuss your preferred date, venue and timing.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK?

Ideally, we would like to start working with you at least 4 weeks prior to your wedding. The sooner you are on our calendar, the better! The soonest we’ll book your wedding is 2 weeks out.

Will multiple weddings be going on at one time?

No. Given the structure of our wedding packages, you will be the only wedding at your selected venue during your specific time-frame.

How many guests can we have?

Currently our ‘elopement’ is designed for 20-50 guests*.

If your guest list is more than 50 guests, let’s discuss. Our policy will follow CDC and New York State guidelines but we’ll be more than happy to accommodate additional guests if guidelines permit.

Can we use our own officiant?

Yes, you are welcome to have your own officiant for the wedding. If you don’t have an officiant, we can provide one for you.

Will we be involved in selecting the flowers and menu for our wedding?

Yes, we have designed the EHV packages to offer our couples an easy, enjoyable planning process that still offers them some choices. You will be given a few options for your wedding invitation, flowers and menu. You will also get to select your ceremony music and wedding cake style and flavor. This allows you to enjoy the planning process and focus on other important wedding details -  your guest list, wedding attire, ceremony content and vows…and having fun.

Can we customize our wedding?

Absolutely! We are happy to work with you on incorporating additional items, services and bespoke details into your wedding and wedding weekend, whatever you would like to do. Contact us for custom wedding pricing.

What photography is included?

Meredith Heuer will document your entire wedding day and will be with you to photograph you getting ready and formal photos, your wedding ceremony, toasts, cake cutting and wonderful candid moments throughout the wedding. 

For additional fees, Meredith can also do an engagement shoot with you, provide videography and create custom wedding albums.

Are all of EHV website images by Meredith heuer?

No. Each of us have contributed photos for EHV in an effort to create a visual story for you. 50% of the images that you see on our site are from Meredith Heuer Photography. Her photography is amazing - a true art form!

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

We’ve got you covered! Our featured venues have rain-plan options. Other venues may require tenting in the event of inclement weather, for an additional cost. Let’s discuss and we will help you figure out the best venue for your wedding.

We have a home in the Hudson Valley - can we host the EHV wedding there?

Yes! We love ‘at home’ weddings and are happy to provide our services to create a very special wedding celebration for you, your family and friends at your Hudson Valley home. Please contact us to discuss.

Do you only do weddings?

No! We plan and produce events and parties of all types - local and destination weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, anniversaries, engagement parties, reunions, baby showers… If you have something to celebrate, we are your team!

How much does it cost?

Pricing varies depending on the venue and wedding package you select as well as the number of guests. We can provide you with pricing once we know your preferred venue, package and guest count.

What if we need to cancel?

The current situation has everyone concerned about wedding dates and contracts and we want to make this as stress free as possible. While our policy will follow New York State and CDC guidelines, we are hopeful that with the small guest counts of our weddings that they will be able to proceed as planned without any issues. If we are not able to move ahead with your planned date due to guidelines, we will be happy to move your wedding to another date or refund you in full, minus a $1,000 processing fee.
